Hello
recently cut HDV MVD on the 2008th and a "Preview Monitor" I want to have over FireWire Camera to go and hang a monitor ... in order to be able to realize, I have the film properties on PAL standard set. I can now while the film properties of the cut set to Pal and before the output back to HDV go without quality loss?

Close prefer graphics card directly s.der another PC Screen s.and Video deLuxe change in the settings that the video monitor to be seen. That brings a lot more, also needs much less power than Firewire everything out of bounds. Because on the second screen, the picture displayed directly, in real time without having to AVI (for Firewire) to be converted. To synonymous Not so simple can have a plasma or LCD television monitor with connector, am I in any case always ;-)

In theory, Yes, as long as you maintain the aspect ratio of 16:9 leaves, otherwise you will be 100% a problem with the position of titles & Co. get ;-)

I have no practical experience, but to give me security, I would have a small test prepend: A SD/16 :9-Start Project (SD = Standard Definition), a few scenes HDV import trim to the timeline set and with titles and fading effects. Then as described in the Project HDV / 16:9 change and see what happens. Only when the works einwandrei (synonymous after interim Calculator reboot yet) I would an important project in this way to tackle. - Otherwise, there may be, a risk everything to have to do it twice.
