Frage von Die Talla:Hello Together,
we have found during renovations 3 film rolls of 1930-1937 with a diameter of about 28 cm, 3 of these roles are filled, with a frame rate of 16 frames a second, all without sound.
We would be happy, because it is certainly the case of films of our club, filming scenes for the old and incorporated into the old footage and thereby create a new movie.
The camera that we want to use this is a HRD FX 1000E with 1440 x 1080/50i HDV.
Now my questions:
1. What type of digitization would you recommend us?
2. Where we can conveniently 16 mm in a good quality can digitize and in what form style MP4 or AVI, so that there will be no problems later in the process?
2. How is it s.besten filming the new material to 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio in HDV or DV quality, so the experience it after the cut, and in bringing together the old footage with no problems?

I would play the copy, and this "cheap" to HDV. The projector should be in perfect condition and add any scratches. Necessarily with nonessential material try!
If you know the content, perhaps a new situation arises and we can share a high-quality digitization with a domestic museum.
Addendum: Before asking if the museum wants to have the film unseen ". Then you will enter zero risk. It could be a very valuable historical document, and then you should play anything unnecessarily broken.
