Frage von HDVideot:Hello,
I would be interested in the impact of the current filter, polarizer, ND filter, UV filter, etc. on a DV recording very much.
More than a few before and after mini-thumbnails but I have not found.
Is there anywhere on the web before and after filter sample videos, s.besten full DV and / or HDTV (HC1, HC3) resolution, so that one can make an impression because views?
Would be great if you know a few pages and post them here Could.

Nevertheless, thank you.

Hi Markus,
if you have a variety of filters available, perhaps you could be a few short samples "with-without" made available?
That would be great.
Gruss

I think ... I just buy the filter ... is probably cheaper ... ;-)

Seriously: It would make a hell of work to turn to Vorher-/Nachher-Szenen. One need for each filter synonymous a suitable recording situation. The whole multiplied with the number of filter ... that would quickly fill an entire day. ;-)

Hello,
the 2 standard filter (ND and / or Pol) were already relaxed many times in the beginning. Easily into the sky and / or hold against the neighbor's window.
Perhaps someone has mercy on yes ... ;-)

Super, would not have thought that the effect is so extreme at the polarizer.
Which presents itself to the filter on, so that the haze, which is in many landscape shots get away? An ND filter?
If you get one polarizer synonymous with the crisp sky blue?
Thanks for the videos.

Super, would not have thought that the effect is so extreme at the polarizer. The effect is startling, indeed: car paint is properly colored, with windows you can see through it without reflection, a meadow is green enough, the sky a beautiful blue, ...
But you must use the filter properly and adjust. Not always and everywhere shows the effect as clearly as in the example above. The angle with which the light hits on the respective surfaces, plays a very important role.
Which presents itself to the filter on, so that the haze, which is in many landscape shots get away? An ND filter? No, an ND filter reduces only the amount of incident light, but towards the mist is directed out of nothing.

UV filter when shooting in 4000 m Height? If you get one polarizer synonymous with the crisp sky blue? In good weather (ie basically a blue sky yes). Especially good is the effective once synonymous few clouds s.Himmel. The contrast between the sky and clouds may be enhanced by polarizing filters.
However, the sky is dreary and gray, then synonymous does a polarizing filter does not confer any blue sky. Here it would help only a blue graduated filter, the result is not necessarily credible looked.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. For me well enough erstmal one polarizer. What bothers me most of the pale sky in landscape photography.
Where I am surprised that digital cameras are still unravel a blue sky with clouds, without the landscape absäuft in the dark?
Do you buy special filters for HDV cams, or tuns synonymous DV filter?
Thanks in advance.

Such filters will remain the same. Whether SD or HD, while no preference. At best the quality is important. If you want the best picture, just buy a circular polarizer or normal to 100-150 euros. He will then have to be good enough ... But if this really affects the quality, I can not prove s.Beispielbildern. They just said, the better it is an additional filter, the less it makes the picture somewhat.
