Hi,
I'm sitting s.Final Cut Pro and have the following problem ...
In the timeline above the left (the tab with the sequence names) a flyout menu where you can select the playback options. You can choose between real time (safe) and unlimited (not secure) mode. It is then with the colors red or orange mark on the clip.
Normally, I had the options in this said flyout menu.
Just funny enough, the choices have disappeared from the menu. The only thing I can choose there is "only reflect lowest trace" and "Recording on tape: Playback settings to use / high quality"
Does anyone of you any idea how I get back into the settings options menu?
I would be connected for any help much;)

My performance has not changed .... but (small flash thought of me ...) maybe it's s.Footage, with which I work? This is quite large (ProRes 422) and maybe it can not be reproduced without rendering in real time ...?
Is it possible?

Make an art project to test with some sample clips to render, if the RT-setting is again possible you may be on the right track ...
