Now comes the trick: I have worked exclusively with Premiere Pro CS3 on Windows XP. Is there any possibility that I am the Project open and edit it?
Thank you in advance for all the answers and everybody Eien schönes WE!

As far as I know, no. For this you need Premiere CS4 + Upgrade Kit.

Ok, thank you. What's it with the video material, with the Final Cut of the tapes are imported, ie hard drive has been recorded? That should indeed uncompressed HDV format? Or is compressed with a codec? Can I use the material with Premiere Pro CS3 import and edit next?
Schönen Gruß & Danke!

The HDV of Final Cut Pro is, of course, no "uncompressed", HDV and uncompressed is a contradiction in terms (that is "natively", and the synonymous, there is not). And: It is for each start / stop a new clip in Quicktime container is created, with the extension "mov". It is missing up to half a second of the original recording front and rear, seems to capture the Windows tool "HDV Split to be similar. Premiere - and on Windows, synonymous QT on Windows, this material is not. The export as Tiff sequence (it is hoped that the film was progressive) and Wav audio is not for larger projects into consideration, although it works (and in your case too late).
EDIT: In the Adobe HP is to read:
Take advantage of tight integration with Adobe After Effects ® CS4, Adobe Photoshop ® CS4 and Adobe Encore CS4. The XML Interchange Format of Final Cut Pro allows direct import of Final Cut Pro project in Adobe Premiere Pro without any conversion or re-rendering. They remain two of the applications used for effects and transitions receive. Upgrade, everything else is convulsions. Have a good news, synonymous for me. Has there been someone with experience?
Again EDIT: Yeah, me on the Final Cut Pro Page a bit loaded. The XML export is probably nothing new, if your friend has done everything right, the Project on the exchange-plate from a single, consolidated file (a text file that gives access to the integrated footage, etc. and describes possible). What is at the premiere of his new page so that it works, is the acceptance of the HDV-Apple itself

OK thank you, then I will face schmerzverkrampftem times with the credit card zuecken buy CS4 and Premiere ... :)
EDIT: Achso, yes, I currently have the CS3 Production Premium Suite. Have any of the other programs because of it (mainly I use After Effects, Encore, Photoshop) many other things changed? Would you recommend, if necessary, equal to Production Premium CS4 Premiere CS4 instead of converting to purchase separately?

OK thank you, then I will face schmerzverkrampftem times with the credit card zuecken buy CS4 and Premiere ... :) I'm still skeptical about what benefits. From the Adobe HP itself you will get to all sorts of Adobe's forums, on which the full promise of the new features like a hundred times will be denied. I have to host premiere of users, as always before, as if the
ancient functions very unreliable. Do you have the option not to begin with a demo version to install?

There are lots of exchange formats between Windows and Mac for HD video.
