Frage von Jule:Hi,
I work for the first time in Final Cut (Studio) and have the following problem: If an already finished video subtitles and - because it is very much text - that black bar under the picture put in the subtitles are written so that they Picture not disturb. The source material is NTSC s.in and b) in 16:9 rotated and cut to the bar I would need it in 3:4 for the issue in Germany then probably also in PAL, is it?
Can anyone (please kleinschrittig possible! And with Chinese professionals should be synonymous not impress me, I do not understand it anyway) to say how I convert the format without the picture to distort / compress? Do I have the aspect ratio manual box? If yes, how and where do I do that? How do I calculate the?
Or is there a better way about the subtitles?
Thank you
Gruß Jule

Wants a pre-ready video and subtitles - because it is very much text - that black bar under the picture put in the subtitles are written so that they do not interfere in Picture. You want the video - probably on DVD (?) Pass? Then please remember that many of today a 16:9 TV, 4:3 letterbox and not particularly love. I know the material is not, but I would suggest you begin it
s.in NTSC respectively. Only very few and then synonymous only ancient devices that we can not play, and when the conversion to PAL you inevitably lose s.Qualität.
b) there is in 16:9 anamorphic respectively. Subtitles are in the picture is often better than s.Bildrand. For readability in changing light: Use contour text. That is: Browser> Effects> Text> Outline text. The font should be simple and without serifs be very nice for example, "Lucida Grande", the default font in OSX. A font size of 13-15 is still readable, and still fit much text into the picture. You insert a single time "sample text" - maybe even two lines - s.die correct position in the viewer (in the "safe area", the "title safe area" may be raised quietly 16:9, do you both visible through the right of the three Ausklappmenus in the middle on the viewer). Now you always überschreibst this Textclip into an empty video track on your film (apple + F10). The new template you load from the timeline, double-click or return back to the Edit button in the viewer.
c) There is no point of long articles entered, or may be more to None's Picture concentrate. Pro subtitles only a brief sentence or two, so 3-4 seconds range.
Do I have the aspect ratio manual box? If yes, how and where do I do that? How do I calculate the? The whole movie you have previously registered in 16:9 geschnitten. You exportierst with Quicktime movie with the name "template 16:9" When you reach the 4:3 letterbox exist, you have now - clear - to create a 4:3 project, it may be synonymous in Pal equal, if it is
absolutely should be. The film pack you straight in the 4:3 timeline, double click to edit back in the viewer, then go to> move> Distort> Aspect ratio here and give it a value "-33" one. Now you can process the video using the wire model in the 4:3 box einskalieren.
In video track 2 would then your subtitle.
