Overall, no problems have been known to be synonymous with Mac-no discussion forums, but:
Very likely FCS2 will have the same problem as FCS3 without the small Update of 14 days ago: See
here. The point "could tear the image" I had experienced with terror itself, but the update came in a jiffy. This problem only occurs on the second monitor at all, of so I do not know how interesting that for you (on the iMac desktop preview mini display port> DVI adapter?). The second error to consider, please symptom would be jerky rolling titles at interlaced material. This recommendation: Interlace supporten not material! In general, one can only recommend that you start as far as possible to execute software updates.
FCS3 worthwhile, however, in Comparison to FCS2 synonymous otherwise, score at least the following four:
1. Improved export with Compressor (simplification).
2. Improved "variable speed" ( "Speedramp, time-remapping")
3. Improved workflow when cut with a lot of extremely high quality compressed by the fantastic footage offline proxy ProRes format.
4. The ability to burn Bluray disc directly from the timeline to a normal blank (or, for internal BD drive to BD) for sale.

Incidentally Have no problems so far with AVCHD and iMovie09 s.neuen iMac! :-) (S.alten not synonymous with C2D and 2GHz) Also VoltaicHD worked well before iMovie09.
Bin synonymous only to wonder come for Final Cut Studio 2, as there is bid out and again favorable Studio 2 on eBay. But I am still too expensive, and possibly for my consumer rights synonymous too much of the good. There would probably synonymous Shipping thick enough, but who knows if Studio is getting 2 times convenient to ...
