The Mac s.dem I work has only iTunes and will not play wma on principle and not import into Final Cut only.
Recommended that convert a certain free goods to?

For playing s.Mac you can easily use the VLC player.

I had so far only once has a wma file (; with inlaid purchase music CD of the HP downloadable bonus track), it did (but with the normal OS X onboard resources, including Perian for QT, Flip4Mac, VLC, etc.) not got it to work.
