Frage von Gwave:I am looking for people who have experience with Final Cut one of OSX from a FireWire disk to start.
My idea is to install a FireWire HDD with an OSX Final Cut Studio 3 and then start of with any Mac OSX from the external HDD. The HiRes videos I would be on a second external hard drive or saved on the internal of your Mac. Could this work smoothly?
I'm looking forward to your responses.

Hello ....
Have my OSX operating system on my external USB "hard drive.
Instructions such as:

Read it carefully through, then you have what you imagine.
The Final Cut yourself, you need to install on your Mac. All additives, so the remaining 45GB or so, you can access the external hard drive Instllieren. No idea why I can not cut everything to the external, but it works.
Cutte with my Final Cut Pro on the original internal HDD. Here I access all the additives of Final Cut via the external.
The footage (HDV), I save synonymous onto the external. It works perfectly.
Viell fun
