hello together,
've just touched on a short film is cut, it had already exported synonymous, but uncompressed, and somehow they need 12 minutes just too much memory (3.2 Gb).
Actually, I want the movie in Mpeg2 auspielen, but this gives me Comprimierung the program not only MPEG-4, avi, where to me, however, then the quality is too bad.
I use Final Cut Pro version 5.1.4, and should eigentlcih but MPG2 synonymous possible, or?

You belong synonymous with those who say little idea of Final Cut Pro. The manual explains it wonderfully!
1. For 12 minutes and 3.2 GB - this is not uncompressed, but normal DV.
2. Is it you, therefore, a playable, from specific file have?
What do you want to do with it? A version for the Internet, for friends? Perhaps synonymous for DVD?
If you have a perfect data-reduced version, then take H.264. = 2xVBR several passes, 3000 kbits / s, Quality = 75, keyframes every 25 frames, AAC with 128 Kbit / s. The Resolutionbleibt same.
3. MPEG-2 is worse than MPEG-4. It can not be that you then the quality will be poor if you use MPEG-4. You need only to export correctly. H.264 is one of MPEG-4.
4. If you really want MPEG-2, which has little meaning, except for a DVD, then make it through the compressor. If you do not have MPEG-2-component in the system and have it nowhere appears, then you have a badly installed version (possibly bootleg) or an old version of Quicktime. The MPEG-2-plugin is in the Final Cut Pro installation installed.

Only now I had the data rate limit to 3000 yes, what were they before, or in other words, how much could it be before? The field of options for the data was blanc.
And Manual relating to: the purchase of a good book is synonymous already planned, but a good stop is synonymous not so funny like a cheap paperback, and one for after-effects must still synonymous ago, an audio interface as well, ne spiegelreflex Digital is still synonymous on the wishlist, only the Bujet is currently used ...

if the video footage later on a beamer runs, is there a data rate of 3000 kbit / s to bad?
I know the benchmarks for MP3, video compression, tells me the size of 3000, however, nothing. What bitrate is uncompressed material from when the quality losses are properly visible, if one of a video out which actions range, and is not calm?

The 3000 kbit / s represents 3 Mbit / s. That's about as good as a DVD.
