Hello,
here is again a question about the perfect Tripod ... ;-)
First of all:
Please dear moderators, if I am wrong forum landed, but the contribution of shifts in the correct sub-forum ... it seemed to me the appropriate hardware to be ...
My question is the following:
I have the following equipment:
Panasonic DVX100A, WDR35pro 35mm adapter, Chrosziel matte box and rods, Century Optics 0.7 Wide Angle Converter, Panasonic anamorphic LA7200G, Rode NTG-1 directional microphone, 7 "LCD monitor with 800x480 resolution, Smith-Victor SM950 head light ... I think that was everything , which could affect the Tripod.
I use my equipment for unterschidliche purposes, that it is of course not everything on the tripod mount, but the weight varies from about 3 kg (DVX100a with Battery, Tape) and approximately 6.5 kilograms
(DVX100a Battery + Tape + + + WDR35pro Matte Box + LCD, the picture horizontally to mirror + Rode NTG-1).
Currently, I own the Manfrotto 525MVB Tripod with 503 head. While it is by the price / performance - Ratio ok, but just what the "fluid nature are concerned, not quite my demands.
Now I look for a tripod, which I am very good swing-and tilt properties, and with the weight ranges of 3-ca.7 n.zurecht comes.
So far I am on the Sachtler DV4 II and the Sachtler DV 6 SB rise. Of course there are many more head of Miller, Vinten, Cartoni, Gitzo, Libec ,..., satisfying the requirements on the weight to meet, but I have in the professional field has always worked with Sachtler (with my big camera) and was always excited (vsof the Sachtler heads 20 and 25), so I tend to this company (it is also a German product and I like to support the German economy ...).
Previously, (vspreislich) the System DV4 II my favorite, but it has only 2 levels of cushioning. Does this system and someone can tell me whether he is satisfied, Tripods what he has previously used and what equipment he used.
The SB has naturally DV6 more damping levels and vsdas Speed-balance system. But unfortunately, the price is considerably higher than the DV4 II ..
Other candidates would be a used video 14 / Video 14II or Video10 head, so from time to time be offered. Has experience and someone wants to tell me?
I would be for any tip or any experience to report DV4 II, DV6SB, Video 14 / 14II or Video 10 grateful.
Of course, I am curious synonymous other models or brands for such a setup is proposed to obtain.

Have me for the Vinten Vision 3 head and decided it really is a huge difference (but priced as synonymous). For amateur filmmakers, the 503, but sufficient. If so, under the "Con-/Prosumer" tripod heads but one of the best ...

Have heard that the newer 503HDV has to be something better than the 503rd And synonymous of 516 (or was it the 519?) You can hear a lot of good, but I can no personal verdict, because I with these heads have not yet rotated ... To Vision 3, I can say I am very satisfied, and that for me, the investment has really paid off, especially when due to the compensation springs austaschbaren very flexible with regard to the weight area.
