I guess your camera is in photo mode, a VGA Resolutionvon 640x480px at 30B / s. DV has 720x576px at 25B / s. So the better Resolutionund Fernsehertauglich above all! Do not know what your TV when playing the 30B / s makes. Your MPG VGA video should also be encrypted, ie it is suitable for cutting rather less.
