I have before me a camcorder zuzulegen (which I still do not know exactly), but to me it lacks a FireWire port on my calculator. PCI slots are full so no synonymous card possible. Since I'll want to ask whether there are any of FireWire adapter to USB there. Or is it possible both to solder (Cable?). Perhaps there is still synonymous in other ways to connect with the PC. Bin you are already grateful for helpful answers.

An adapter does not exist and my knowledge is synonymous not feasible, since completely different transfer protocols available. But there are boards with more than just Firewire, such as sound cards with firewire port, USB2 and Firewire on a map ... Maybe you can one of your existing cards in order to replace it?

Thanks for the tip. Ich hab mal geguckt, there are cards with IDE controllers, and FireWire, so can I use my old IDE controller erstetzen.
