Frage von hajoax:Hello,
have Windows XP - Home Edition - SP1 and installed the aforementioned firewire card. Find no drivers, not synonymous in the Internet.
What is tuen on and why these cards will be sold if it is so difficult to find drivers for it.
We see a lot of questions on this subject, and it would have to be aware of these difficulties synonymous the sales of this hardware.
Whoever replaces me the time by useless verurschten damage.
Antwort von Markus:
Hi Hans,
OHCI-compliant IEEE1394 card should of Windows XP automatically detected and mounted. I've certainly never had to install the drivers after installation.
As for reports of your PC after booting Win XP?
Antwort von Peter S.:
The problem lies rather in the computer distributors: There are often included only the operating system recovery CD, not the entire contents of an original XP CD has. Since then not only lacks firewire driver, sometimes synonymous network drivers and even the accessories program of Windows. Justification of distributors: "The only confuses the average user."
MFG Peter
