I have purchased NEN laptop but there is no FireWire port on it can uch now with my Canon Mv690 a FireWire cable usb connect?
Can the video camera via firewire synonymous Usb send signals?

there is no firewire / usb cable. either firewire or usb.
if the notbook has no firewire is the bad. I know not whether man sowas s.einem notebook can be upgraded, rather not.
when you get to the video's I would need to replace what gescheids.

Probably you'll find it just does not work. That is in 90% of cases in the solution. Almost all laptops have Firewire, give us a look at the exact model, then we can verify whether you really have any adapter etc. need to buy.
