Hello,
Unfortunately, my HP laptop has no Firewire port.
I want to but the movies my JVC digital camcorder to my laptop over to play.
Can one tell me whether it is something like a Firewire adapter for USB there!
Unfortunately, the laptop PCMCIA slot does not synonymous, because there is Cardbuskarten with Firewire connection.
Has anyone here perhaps a good suggestion or advice

... the more it surprised me that there are obviously people who buy such a thing. Is a real way street, if there is no extensibility (of USB apart). I know something of only ancient devices.

Firewire to USB gibts not. Capturing over USB does not work.
Video is one Firewire. Looks bad for you.
