Hi folks,
have to jump into cold water and made according to my two HDV cams now have the first SDHC card Cam fetched. Sogesehen is the Xacti VPC-HD1010BK in image quality a step backwards compared to my HV10 and the HV20 but it is more an experimental cam for me. On the one hand it is a little insight into the editing of H.264 material, it is characterized by a lack of optical image stabilizer, hopefully not susceptible to vibration as the HV10/20 and it came bundled with an underwater housing which is of course :-), new frontiers of Shooting opens.
The whole picture is not nearly as sharp and crisp as that of the two AGMs. Movements are shown with a jerk, or ghosting from vertical objects. The Weisabgleich has enormous problems with fluorescent lighting and the focus is slightly irritating but luckily there is a shortcut to the Focus Lock. The colors are OK, a bit disturbing trend seems to be the over-exposure of brighter points in Picture with simultaneous underexpose the dark, so it works in contrast artificially.
The material we 1920x1080 60i as 30p or synonymous to the SD card in H.264 saved. When processing of the H.264 codec of Sanyo is immediately on that play even more painful is that the codec of Canon as I had already serious problem of material with Samsung what my box does not even play was smooth. For a liquid handling at Vegas, I will probably Selected Scenes in as lossless convert AVI or HDV 1080i rausrendern. Had last night experiments with different formats and not made everything went flawlessly.
The attitude as AVI Intermediate HDV in Vegas with Uncompressed ran even in VLC is not smooth and produce huge files. If, however, that it was s.der plate on which I test the file.
AVI YUV So was OK but was quite large share artifacts and problems with movement in Schlieren
The best results I have surprisingly with HDV MPEG intermediates, which does the file size, quality and workability of the material is concerned. Any recommendations here?
The underwater housing is a fairly solid impression. It is of
Epoque, a Japanese shop. Let's see how it does so unterwasser :-)

Was today the Cam in the hand.
I thought it was pretty good in the hand.
But nowhere has so far been a test report on the find.
But as you write, sounds like this is not really good :-(
I would like to see at Christmas, a full HD camcorder growth.
Schwanke, nor between the Sanyo Xacti HD1010, the SonyHDR-TG3
and the SonyHDR-CX11.
Requirement are only eigendlich Full HD, Memory Stick, nice and small and handy
and flat, the picture should be somewhat synonymous vote.
price does not matter.

After some initial tests, it seems that the picture of the Sanyo is not the one with HV20 or HV30 can compare. There are still times between the two worlds in Optics and probably synonymous chip. With good lighting, so nice sunshine, when the country Docus shank, which I usually do :-), but the quality goes. On a HD screen, I have not seen pictures yet, but this is synonymous for my HV10/20, 22Zoller only on a monitor.
The basic problem is that the H.264 of Sanoy my Core Duo 3.6GHz auffrisst when you play, even using VLC, Real Player (crashes with the Sanyo Always) and Consorten bring ruckende movements. I still have not the CD of Sanyo installed, perhaps because it lurks another driver for the codec. my way so far was in Vegas Pro. Rendering as AVI Cineform udn then edit.
Here, especially with movements in the Horizentaleben, that the image stabilizer as pure plays. Without the deals, but the Cam is definitely on a tripod and no banned Run & Gun permits or pan / panning.
The first real endurance test, the cam now currently on a mission to Malaysia, where I purposely my HV10 at home, which otherwise as Run & Gun at my serves. Since I parallel synonymous with the HV20, I have a few comparisons.
I want the Sanyo synonymous but not as a replacement for the HV10, but it aims to take on tasks, with the HV10/20 to "dangerous" would be or when it comes to vibration is the optical stabilizers from the balance.
