Hello,
for a feature I need the following lighting situation and do not yet know exactly how I want it is implementing:
It is mounted in the room a light bulb that will light flicker. Outside it is dark. The people in the room are so illuminated only by those flickering light bulb.
The plan was this: We need a device that can flicker the circuit ", so that the circuit oscillates between about 100 and 230 volts, so the light is brighter at times and dark times ...
Are there such devices, or is there a way to implement this problem differently?

You could buy an inexpensive dimmer, the bridge and adjust accordingly with one pushbutton. Each time the button is pressed, the dimmer is active and provides the reduced voltage.

Da gibts 2 options:
1. The official way: Small (DMX) lighting control, smaller (DMX) dimmer, and then program the whole thing so that it looks good.
2. The dirty way: One need 2 of this popular white hand 2kW dimmers of FG. Gibts every film lighting rental companies.

These 2 dimmers are in a row (!) Connected in series with the bulb.
So:
230-Tin ---> 1.Handdimmer ---> 2 Hand dimmer ---> Bulb
And then you have to turn up both emotionally dimmer. Affect the dimmer electronics to each other, and after a brief experiment with the two pots to get a Potieinstellung in the car then the lamp flickers. Looks absolutely honest man, for "poor, shaky electricity grid."
Of course only works with light bulbs! Energy-saving lamps, discharge lamps .... do not work!

I'm here so what have been grad but only ne Starter gluehbirne to a scene I've filmed and then via the normal 3D and AE under construction so until then the pear Progi Cad handicrafts in 3D Progi the materials and the scene is replaced .. . color in AE then all aligned with the original footage.

I did not have it but people light up .... the bulb, although in more shots than seeing "light source - but the scene was in ner open hall / Set rotated and just hang drueben SoftBox or sail.

Nen nen ballast which works like strobe (flash / disco), it should be white but not whether it would work out at ner bulb.
Perhaps we should get either a "swinging light source to use" or the Scene 2 stops too bright to record via the AE and then darken again frequented.
Hmm no idea how the rules could otherwise .... mal nen I would ask the friend says the expert concerning whether light and sound is.
But is determined to say the lamp will break before I could imagine even imagine it

Even easier: (for a realistic flickering because very random) you need a dimmer and an energy saving lamp (which is NOT dimmable).
Since these require a certain tension in order to properly illuminate it flickers quite a lot because a reduced voltage (like a dimmer makes it) a kind of switch-simulated.
Only such a lamp will not suffice to illuminate a room, unless it is an expensive and very powerful lamp. In addition, you should buy at least two of these lamps, energy saving lamps for synonymous s.Einschaltvorgängen tolerate only a certain number. Each flicker is auto switching-one ...

I do not know with what you want to rotate the camera, but I doubt that you will reach this one flickering light bulb as the lighting.
