Hello,
I'm currently on the lookout for a small, compact, lightweight fluid head, which should take my VX2100. Beautiful would be an adjustable friction, real fluid system, and a compensation spring.
The Manfrotto 700RC2 of my ideas would come quite close, but unfortunately has a fixed and friction is not a real fluid system. How is this head in comparison to a 501 what the swing is concerned? How difficult is the friction at the 700RC2, and run free of Stick-Slip finish possible synonymous with fast movements?
The head should be up to 150 ¬.
About these suggestions I would be delighted!

Eh is a view thing, there are just users here that do not use Manfrotto heads would - just like Sachtler.
701 RC 2 while working with fluid cartridges, this is indeed the Neigefriktion & Schwenkfriktion fixed. I would say medium - the setting is so far ok. I find it quite ok (except it is a Henkelmann of it takes place) - better than the fluid head (PH 368) from Velbon DV 7000th
Not Fluid - 501 of 501 like HDV - have 1 level with variable Teflon friction.
I've long filmed with him, so bad (as he often is done), I see him not. With some practice, because for me there are no shakes s.Anfang & end.
Yes, the fluid 503er series with infinite Friktionseinstellung (just the way everyone likes it) has as synonymous of the theory have been an advantage.
But in the price segment's almost always not a good choice.

Yes, the mass of the Consumer & semi (like me synonymous) stop working with Manfrotto 501 (HDV) & 503 (HDV), 700 & 701 and the Velbonköpfen like the 368th PH I know here synonymous only 7 of heads from our own experience.
Although many companies Tripod & head yes eh a partial joint production have like Sachtler, Manfrotto and Vinten (all 3 Vitec Group).

How heavy is the camera anyway?
The compensation for the springs 501 & 503 heads are HDV for 2.5 kg, for the 701er 1.5 Kg
When the camera like a good 1 Kg the weight, it could possibly happen, which is when the camera panning through its own weight is not 100% in the train stops.
I find the 701 RC 2 quite well, the front & Hecklastige weight distribution (for the unusually small class) on the plate is synonymous ok.
I like the 501 but more & 503er, probably because I almost only men worked with Henkel, a 701er head is already s.seiner ceiling.
My clients find but even with a small HD Camera ala Canon HV 20 or JVC HD 501 HDV 3 the head as appropriate, because somehow you have a better feeling, but can be synonymous imagination.
But in after times some smaller companies to look is certainly not synonymous wrong (though many companies jointly build & build), which can be seen eg in the optics of Tokina DSLR (Pentax replicas) for Canon and Nikon - which are even in the big forums are not respected, but sometimes very good image quality in terms of inventory levels, contrast & Randabschattung for about ¬ 500.

Gitzo is probably an exotic status - is familiar but quite popular (as I am today umhörte) - the French company.
