Frage von QUAD:The following problem:
My Focus Firestore FS-4 HD shares (a recording, approximately 25min long) into multiple files. Instead of setting a file I now have two files à 1.64Gb and one that 1Gb is great.
Gibts da an attitude that prevents?
Antwort von QUAD:
Did the problem remains and it is very difficult, because the individual scenes only with clearly visible transitions can be joined together!
Somebody has a solution for this problem?
Antwort von frm:
There is a possibility. Call s.besten to Focus.
Did the instructions no longer there, abr there is a DOS command to add the files together without transitions.
Antwort von thos-berlin:
I do not have the equipment.
If it is a setting, this should not be read in the documentation.
I once had borrow a Datavideo DN 300, which (because of the used file system, FAT32) had to share the files.
Perhaps there lies the cause?
However, I did not notice there that there would have been s.den interfaces to any "interference or jumps" or similar things that would have exposed the interfaces.
That would be an error with security!
One can did in the with a DOS command (zuammenkopieren files, it would be COPY), please read correct parameterization. But I do not know whether that with (container files, and we work AVI).
Antwort von frm:
I like this idea too much synonymous.
Prinzipell there is a DOS command zusammenkopiert of the data.
The error apparently lies s.Windows the data show is not complete even though they exist and are recorded.
When I needed frühjer every 9 minutes at about half a sec

The Firestore shows several files because the hard drive is formatted in FAT32 Of Firetsore. It is possible (the files with an external program, eg AVI Joiner) add together afterwards. If you want to add to M2T, you will be the instructions helpful:
*********************************************
The Firestore FS-4, FS-C, DR-HD100 are FAT32 based, giving s.approximate 2G file limit. There can not be longer than clips 2GS, resulting in multiple files per clip.
The Open GOP structure of the stream 1080 requires that information contained in these multiple files to have a truly contiguous video / audio file. Because of the nature of Open GOP compression.
Some NLE systems do not combine the m2t files when imported, so this needs to be done prior to import.
Some people are using the following method to combine the files. All this does is combine the files s.the binary level, using a DOS command, to over come "seamless" obstacles. It does not change or modify the MPEG.
***********************************************
Command example:
"copy / b 001.m2t +002. m2t v: \; CompleteClip.m2t"
Some detailed steps:
The following assumes drive "V" is the destination video work drive, and the FS-4 HD is drive "F". Also the destination file will be named, "cam1.m2t. Type the command, without the quotes. To "command" is simply typed s.command.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The destination drive drive (, V:) must be a non-FAT32 file format, such s.NTFS.
NOTE: The purpose of steps 1 and 2 are to avoid hassling with the original default and long file names, reduce typing. So they are not required.
1) Mount the FS-4 HD to a Windows 2000/XP computer. FS-4 is normally mounts s.drive "F". Rename the folder with the video files to "fs". (; just for simplicity).
2) Rename the video files to 001.m2t, 002.m2t, 003.m2t, 004.m2t, 005.m2t, 006.m2t and 007.m2t. This assures that they stay in order. (; just for simplicity)
3) Close the window and then click Start, Run and type "command" and press enter.
4) Next type "f::" and press enter. You should now be s.the root dir of the FS-4 HD's drive.
5) Next type "cd fs" and press enter. You should now be s.the "f: \; fs" folder.
6) Next type "copy / b 001.m2t +002. M2t +003. M2t +004. M2t +005. M2t +006. M2t +007. M2t v: \; capture \; cam1.m2t" and press enter. Be absolutely sure to include / b which is for binary.
7) Import cam1.m2t into your NLE.
