In the wide field, I can next objects than 3 m are not sharp. I have the impression that the focus can not go on indefinitely (it shows at infinity). In the telephoto range, there are no problems. The problem occurs both as synonymous with the autofocus in manual focus equally on.
For outdoor scenes with high brightness, I was initially not noticed. For interior shots, it is very unsatisfactory if the people on the sofa are all blurred. Objects which are very close, I can focus properly, but the distant objects synonymous and are to be zoomed.
I have a body zoomed sharp object, so it will be blurred when I Wide Anglezoome.
The PDX10P I recently purchased used. It was striking that it was hardly used. Without any visible traces of use, Drum 1X10 h Run, Tape Run 0x0h. Perhaps because of this problem? What can you do? I do not believe that a botch Sonyso builds.
The consumer version is called TRV950E. Has anyone a Camera and a similar experience?

There are problems with "durchzoomen" Randunschärfen (depending on aperture), etc. the system.
The original lens is very sharp ausgeworgen, synonymous in WW setting. Sounds rather then a case for the SONY service or for a complaint to the owner.
Have yourself a PDX10P with SONY original 0.6 x WW adapter, Camera has over 2,500 h drauf, including synonymous tough missions in Western Africa.
Bin with the Camera and the quality very satisfied.
A tip: Be careful when PDX10P with the (detachable) XLR Adapters: Den Although you can remove and restart the SONY but tends to provide Apapter not to recognize, is then a case for the Sony service .. .

The error occurs without the synonymous WW-converter on. Now have a test done again with a ladder which I obliquely Record. When you monitor, you can clearly see that in focus -> infinity at about 2 m in the rung is sharp, and from the behind are increasingly blurred.
With open aperture (short shutter speed) you can see the s.besten in low light and you have to open up the Aperture yes, so I noticed right at the first interior shots, synonymous with landscape photography, the blur on, then s.Abend very clear.
With your help, now I know that others do not have this error and I will carry out a repair, especially since the camera in the normal state all my needs met: True anamorphic 16:9, all the functions manual adjustable, zebra, mobile use, makes a synonymous very robust impression, etc.
I have long gezaudert and I had almost bought a new FX7 but then I would have my computer, my Premiere 6.5, my beamer, my walkman video and need to replace my television and only in SD to film enough for me as (demanding) the Amateur PDX10P for the next 2 years completely out and then possibly a tapeless camera when the cutting issue is resolved

Question: Are the 2500 hours of original video with drum and the first drive? Then congratulations! My old Panasonic DX100 managed just around 1000 hours in 9 years, then came to me too many pixel blocks and a strip in the center of the image on. In the final phase, I used it only with umgehängtem video recorder as a Walkman. Sharp pictures still makes them but the electronic stabilizer was the beginning of s.kaum useful.

Yes, the (current) 2,450 h DRUMRUN are still on the original head. After each tour Africa, I have the cam in SONY clean check and leave. Also, I use only Sony tapes PDVM-40 course in DVCAM mode. Tapes will be used only once (archive)!
To restore, I have a Sony DSR 11 DV / DVCAM digital recorder that I bought cheap on EBAY have.

Sonyhat not have its own service center anymore. Has anyone experience with the Sony on the page listed "AVC Audio - Video Communication Service GmbH", or can give me a qualified shop in the southwest of Germany (or even Karlsruhe) call? A service manual I have in the meantime Ebay worried but there is not much what in my case could set or adjust. You may have to be the whole Optics swapped, I do not know what something costs.
The Service Manual is to me in pdf format (in English), if someone with technical knowledge.
