Frage von reisemurmel:Hello
for a 6-month trek, I'm looking for a camcorder.
Therefore, the weight and handling is important. I've rausgesucht me as a compromise of recording quality (Full HD 50i or 25p) and the weight SonyEX-1.
Do you have any ideas, a better suggestion? How sensitive is the ex-1 in everyday use in the exterior?
And yet I'm looking for a very good weather for the ex-1, if nothing changes. Who knows a Manufacturer?
Thank you for your suggestions.
Antwort von Johannes:
The weight / power / price class Ex1 still exists alongside the Panasonic HMC151 (AVCHD) and Panasonic HVX200 and HPX171 have s.Hut latter being much more with pixel shift in the hmc, I do not know.
Weather you get of Kata, Portabrace and Petrol.

One EX1 is great, but for your application may be a little oversized.
More suitable and convenient in many ways would be the Panasonic AG-HMC151E. The image quality is perhaps not quite so brilliant as the EX1, but the remaining functions of the camera are absolutely comparable. It is mechanically robust and significantly lighter (1.98 kg <kg) 2.8.
The EX1 is characterized with 35MBits / s for MPEG2, which is sufficient for a 16GB card for around 60 minutes of recording time. One 16GB SxS card costs around 600 ¬. The AG-HMC151E characterized with 24Mbps in AVCHD and thus to fit on a 16GB card approx 80 minutes. A 16GB SDHC card costs about 30 ¬.
The coding efficiency of 25Mbps AVCHD corresponds 35MBits / s MPEG2 which is no disadvantage arises in image quality.
In any case, one must travel to save a lot of data and remove. Since they will be able to avoid a backup solution is not. I would be there to grab a stack of SD cards. In SxS cards will be poor, because only the transportation is a notebook for copying.
Of course, it would be the unofficial way with the EX1 to record on SD cards, but if the pictures have a greater value for you, then I would advise of this variant.
