Have the problem that I have my PC probably can not upgrade accordingly (Pentium D 2.8 GHz, 2 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD Pro 2400). Just to upgrade the RAM to buy, I would have a new motherboard (Abit LG-95C so far).
In any case, I had the idea: Can we not now do that via Cloud Computing? I have only minutes about 25 minutes. Source material and would like a 2 min. min and a fifth Clip cut from it. For that I want to buy me of course, no new PC.
Are there any providers that offer full HD editing via Cloud Computing? Thanks ...

So far I have not IMO cloud computing solutions for DV editing known. The biggest problem might be unique but the very large amount of data that are first uploaded to the "cloud", before anything at all can be done!
For 25min footage should probably occur about 4-5GB. ^ ^

Thus, it would be advisable to consider the purchase of a new machine into consideration.

Well GB is 4-5 but not at the present time a lot:). Not sitting in front of the PC and to see how each bit is transmitted.

Absolutely.
And then, would also need its own synonymous Anbidung so in the megabit range (20 perhaps), so that you can work with. This would at least have their own system enough power to the incoming stuff to decode again (if it is about a kind of live stream).

HD video, hosted on several online video portals (or less in the "cloud"), do not need just a little processing power to ensure smooth playback. Simply because it will fail even as slow systems, such as netbooks and old calculator, are not fast enough.
