Hello,
I've decided to start now, but once a sort of collective thread because the other threads often far stray from the topic because general questions arise.
I have therefore thought the way that you can get rid of in this thread regarding all general questions Glidecam.
I usually start with a reference s.alle jump times, which is synonymous to a short time Glidecam HD 1000 when you ordered Marcotec to:

Had (in my New York vacation a monopod, Manfrotto 161B brought) for my XH A1 and one Flycam 3000 for my HV30.
Cameras I transported to the flight in a KATA backpack. The Flycam and the monopod in two suitcases packed in between the clothes. During the stopover in London / Heathrow we took a lead acid battery's little head lights off for a picnic, because there somewhere with ACID stand and what the British do not like that. Today at just after ten, it was time.
My Glidecam HD-1000 has arrived.
Unfortunately, shortly thereafter had to be to school and got them today at noon but then assembled and balanced.

Now every time I packed on Page two weight plates and the telescopic handle almost fully retracted.
I have a feeling that is something so peaceful and you have to correct less with the second hand.
How do I actually run s.besten if I want to film in front of someone while running?
Reverse nem with second husband, who tells me wos lang geht?
Forward and side holding the Glidecam beside the body?
Or any side as a mixture of both?
I'm talking now of unknown terrain, like a forest or a hallway, etc., where I am familiar is not so much that I could shoot without looking forward.

More weight can be good, but need to look absolutely that if you walk, it does not s.wackelt on and that does not happen when the weight is easy. I only need 1 sheet per Page and still with a bit of weight on it by small panes. So I do not have to run and I s.wenn that can not be judged by you, you'll even remember myself.
Backwards usually goes s.flüssigsten, simply as a forward. But in the forest with roots or not recommend sonstwas rather like you already said yourself. Then, as already described of you, run forward and shoot back, holding his arm across sKörper lest you get into the picture. This is possible, but it is much harder to film than ultimately backward rotation.
You'll probably adjust a few things differently and try out that comes with time, as I said, I needed some time to find the perfect setting for me, that you are just going to try and calm enough so always watch the recordings and consider the errors that can contain himself any other shift. The more weight you down, the more unbalanced you will have stopped in movement, and will then need to fix. Only a beta video of the video. Synonymous is only part of it but I have yet to turn, I'll make it out of fun for my colleagues, that is really just a private thing. Further back we see the Glidecam synonymous with no slow motion into action in case the one interested.

Get a bit of practice again today and filmed while the upload times, so you can possibly tell me what I was doing wrong.
Get the weekend, no matter how much practice as possible, since I s.Dienstag at a concert with Steadycam on the stage and movies because everything must be perfect!
Does not have a Tips and Tricks, which it must be remembered when one of the Glidecam with a concert on the stage running (; like on TV).
I guess one should not make excessive use here, since the one that disturbs the audience, and secondly, probably later in the film looks too wild, right?
The whole is filmed with cameras, 4-5. We have geplajnt two possible structures:
a) Two-cams (on "manned" Tripods left and right, one of which is 4m high on a scaffold) are
-I (with Glidecam s.and on stage, in front of the stage is blocked off the area around 3m by synonymous with, I could move freely.
a static-Cam, a little off of the next stage and the audience as the films shot
- Possibly still a cam of the stage into the audience or anywhere else out
b)-A cam on a "manned" Tripod (; on the scaffold)
-I s.and on stage with Glidecam
-static long shot again
-a static or two somewhere Cam distributed
