Hello, I am since yesterday stolßer owner of a SonyHDR HC3 and would love to get my footage and edit on the calculator. Was sorry to say but the one with the Trial of the Pinnacle 10 plus can not.
Can someone give me a tip for a useful trial.

I would even go so far as the next Jojo. HDVSplit is currently the only program on the market, which meets my requirements somewhat as a film maker.
It supports automatic scene segregation, recognizes when data has been incorrectly transferred on fast PCs and supports a preview.
I think there is no alternative.

Hi and danke erstmal. I've downloaded the HDVSpilt. Bekomm book now but always an error message: ERROR: HDVSPlit can not find MPEG2 video decoder. Try to install and configure ffdshow and Preview is disabled.
ffdshow I've downloaded, but the configurator as synonymous to me? And how can I turn on the Preview. The HDR HC3 is detected in any case.

SeeYa grovel But - the alternatives would be Cineform products or Edius itself that can all Automatic scene separation, and during the Capturing the transformation in the intermediates. But they are definitely more expensive than HDVSplit - cheaper than free can not be done!

Have the same problem with the SonyHC-1 and APP 2.0.
Can with an HDV Project dub recordings of the camera and editing on the computer, but can not replay the final movie via firewire to the camera (tape).
According to Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 with the should be no problem.
Even Sony Switzerland and Asus computer does not know the problem.
Could it be that the HDV input via Firewire will first be unlocked? Or it may lie s.Windows XP Pro (Treibermässig)?

Hi Peter K.,
for me the problem was in my head - had been thought as unnecessary burdens and pull-ups. The solution (was) with me simply:
FireWire cable to connect the cam, only turn the HC-1 (extremely important for the HC-1 around the Firewire controller) does not destroy it. Then go to Play / Edit, then virtually the playback menu. There, in the Programs menu Recording Control. choose. The camera now so leave.
Now you open your finished HDV project in Premiere Pro 2.0 and sets the focus on the timeline or the playback window. Now, you choose from the menu: File>> Export>> Print to tape. Now open a small dialog to export Render and "you click on the OK button. Now, the transport stream is generated at mid-stream of the progress bar on the tape coiled, the display of the HC-1 you can see how the film will raufläuft. That should have been so exact it works with my HC-3 and after everything I've read, it is not in the HC-1 differently.
