The Glidecam 2000/4000, I find quite good and fairly cheap. Now I have seen the Flycam 5000, which actually is the same ...?! But cheaper!
Are big differences, or there is no difference!

Ps: No, without arm and vest! If I understood correctly, is the Flycam more or less a replica of the Glidecam. The question is whether the materials are synonymous (joints, etc.) in normal quality manufactured. I would be synonymous with a very happy statement of someone who times it was possible for a comparison.

You purchase your Glidecam on ebay in America. With the Glidecam, you know what you have and because the dollar is just as bad, because the synonymous get quite cheap.
Still need about 60 inches Euro beat it, but under 300 euro should remain allemmal.

And the Glidecam is a replica of the original Steadicam (now the subject of patent rights Tiffen) ... Nevertheless, the Glidecam of price / performance ratio ... No, in the worst times.
The levitation system uses thee nothing, if you after a few minutes get a long arm. Think about the smooth-shooter or the new, more expensive Glidecam X10 after.
