Hello

Premiere CS 3 which I did and it cost much money, but enough of it, you know, has trouble relating to the capturing audio and video synchronization.

Now I am looking for another possibility, but I am not found anything. And although I would like to:

An entire DV tape capture with scene detection, ie it should be for each scene, a clip is created, s.besten with continuous numbering.

Live Capture've tried pros, but it fails already s.Anfang of the tape and finds the starting point.

What else is on the market?

My equipment: Mac Pro 4x2, 66, 1 TB disk drives, Panasonic NV-GS250

I did not know that Premiere / Mac problems with the synchronicity of DV (!) Material, and type in a wrong set audio sampling rate. All your needs fulfilled and satisfied otherwise iMovie, which is already in the times of Final Cut Pro # 2 like was used, as this still no automatic separation dominated scene. That one iMovie material (. Dv) after import render, is not a sign of inferior quality: it is a gemuxter DV Stream.

P.S. ich bin synonymous einer der wenigen "abtrünnigen" hier, die den Mac in Kombination with Premiere and Not Final Cut Pro / Express use. So if you have questions, just so her.

tragic but unfortunately true. when I still worked with premiere had 6.5 on the pc at that time, it was absolutely no problem

how is it with iMovie 08, the data is compressed or is it the full quality?, ie 1:1 on the tape

Hi Roger,
the four described in section describes history but only Timecode - gaps on your tape. That should happen with Camera None of which does not tape in between (for "controlling") out-and hergespult will. If that's your usual approach, it would be better to use the tapes in advance with "nothing" to play, then it is everywhere TC. It should be synonymous in the premiere of a feature type, cancel the recording, when the time code is lost (the default). It compels you then manual to the next picture to navigate and capture a new session to start, but completely synchronously. All this has with the Capture tool does not do this. Digital video is no time code from the glue, which is now true.

If you can, then experiment with iMovie HD's from the old iLife package. The new IMO is not so nice and simple but synonymous significantly reduced.

As far as I know, when the data capture process in a different color space converted, but there is no compression made. A DV stream contains less that what is on the DV tape is located.

I originally came from the iLife package, so iMovie to Final Cut Express.

Initially, it was terribly difficult for me, no scene detection to have more. (If already back on FCE)

Meanwhile, I am even happy about it. I capture my tapes directly and completely on a hard drive. (Disk space today costs almost nothing more) Then I select my clips used by in and out point and drag to the timeline.

I can clip on scene boundaries together without what together. Each clip can be arbitrarily determined compare and select.
