I have the photographic material is 2048x2048 px size. When editing is the granularity of something lost. Is there a way to re-add the granulated grit or any draufzusetzen? I would work with After Effects. However, I can not because noise and grain only add to 1024x1024px.

What sit for a video material, that such an extraordinarily strange format? Actually, the After Effects should dominate, at least the CS3, which version do you have? Otherwise grain in Photoshop, with Alpha store in After Effects and import, and then animate Photoshop file that looks like it is not static.
