My first Project (Panasonic avchd, cut with Edius Neo Booster) is finished, as H.264 | AVC I have packed on a USB drive, play my Philips LCD from excellent (for software update).
So far, so good. Is H.264 | AVC synonymous but the best format when it comes to Archiverung (perhaps synonymous Nachbesarbeitung times)?
Or is an issue as avchd favorable (though the files are significantly larger)?
Or bluray format?

So, for the post is unsuitable H.264. Blu-Ray format is Blu-Ray nunmal for not archiving. I'm thinking of you coming with AVCHD still s.besten.

AVCHD is just a marketing name for H.264/AVC! ;)
With PPro and CS5 5.5/NEO Edius 2.5 "booster" is the post production of H.264 no problem - provided a suitable PC.
In a video Blu-ray can accommodate H.264, VC1 and MPEG2.
For archiving, I would suggest H.264 and MPEG2 (with at least 35Mbit / s),.
