I have just the first test shots made with my HF100. About the quality I can not say much because I am only in my kitchen was filmed. Next, I came not because the battery is still loaded:)
But now I'm totally thrilled ever since my PS3 will play the recording promptly.
After that I tried, the images (. Mfs) files on the PC with VLC view. It falls to me, unfortunately, from VLC. So if anyone knows what the mfs Media Player files played ...
Incidentally, I have the highest possible bitrate (FXP, 25p) for a cheap SD card of Emtec filmed (2GB = 15 min.).
I now invite only times calmly to the end and then go out in the beautiful weather.

So after the tests to judge, they are not mutually lot. have to stop you know what options are important, ie sd or tape, edit, weight, viewfinder, etc.
hf I think the 100 is the currently the best deal for the money you can get.

Yes the VLC player makes problems for me synonymous with the Canon HF 100 MTS material - possibly setting the wrong player.
Nero Showtime and even Windows Media player (who would have thought), the Canon material well played - a quick calculator provided.

Thanks for the tip with the Windows Media Player. The would be the last I really tried. Runs perfectly smooth, only "forward" unfortunately does not. Showtime, I have not on the calculator. I thought natürlch. Mts files, not. Mfs (incorrectly).
On the subject of colors, I would still say something synonymous. I had been a Panasonic HDC-DX1 and a JVC GZ-HD7 and subjective agency hereby finds that the HF100 is not only a quantum leap in image sharpness but synonymous regarding "realistic" colors. To Sony I can not tell.
I look at the pictures on a Samsung LE-46M86BD of the SonyPS3 to. The LCD television is perhaps not the most expensive, but a little adjustment with a fairly natural picture.

Of Canon I've still not heard in order to xv Color. Canon is the market waiting for a bit, to later nachzulegen and not on the wrong horse.
XV Color is actually a by about 30% (I think was the number) to ensure better color reproduction. I have the Canon s.einen xv Color SonyLCD viewed and yet I was already impressed - of course more of their focus performance - this is a good close ups of people (chin to forehead end) to make - so close to rank and address details to examine - a person with long hair are suitable.

My specific problem:
I actually wanted me ext. pick up the disk s.laptop connect, then the SD card from the camcorder s.den laptop and ran to the ext. festplatte slide.
Now, however, has highlighted the ps3 only recognizes FAT32 disks and files which in turn recognizes only up to 4 gb! The HD recording will probably be larger than 4 Gb, so what do you do there?
what is the solution?

Hello,
File at 1 sec is just over 2 MB, ie 1 min over 120 MB with 17 Mbit / sec.
Simply File (MTS) to a CD / DVD burn and PS 3 in the slide. With the Canon I have not done, but with Pana and Sony AVCHD - because there were no problems.
PS 3, but Memory Stick Pro Duo slot, or, in other words the file synonymous stick to a store (eg with a card for 5 ¬). Yes Memory ticks are expensive.
Whether the PS 3 with other devices can dock, I do not know, plus I am not a console freak. Maybe an external hard drive ....

Exactly what I want to avoid but, I would not have dozens of dvds, but everything on a 500GB or 1 TB ext. hard drive.

So you will hardly 60 minutes without interruption or record? Just stop at the half and then not more than 4gb per file (for a 8gb sd card)
