Frage von lemon:Hello!
I do often live recordings made directly via a projector screen s.eine are projected. Until now I always have my two Digital8 cams of Sonybenutzt, each with an S-video output possess.
Since I am now on a HD-Cam (probably Canon HF100) wants to change, I am faced with the problem that there's just more a FBAS - and an HDMI outputs. The projector that I use, has FBAS - and DVI inputs.
Do I need in the future FBAS "go back", or can be given with DVI / HDMI what do? However, I am not prepared to 100e euro for the cable signals, the connection costs should please 2stelligen remain.
Thank you very much!

DVI is HDMI without sound.

That I know, and this is synonymous to a projection => Picture only.
So is there a way using only HDMI cables and DVI / HDMI adapter? The cables are so expensive pigs. :-(

on hd-sdi, then the cables are cheap, but the more expensive transformer. way or another you will need to invest money, if you have a digital HD signal transmitted want ..

Hello,
if the quality of the projection so far was insufficient (I mean mainly the resolution), then you can stay in SD, then simply take FBAS, cables are cheap, much worse is the signal is not synonymous (obviously depending on the length of cable).
If the ResolutionHD be that it will be expensive. Sure you can HDMI-DVI adapter to use. Long cable is here synonymous. However, "long" then something else. 10-20m should not be exceeded.
Longer lines are really only on HD-SDI, which is invaluable for you ...
If you want HD synonymous in more than one camera, you need you are a switcher or mixer. But switch to turn the screen crashes, not the hit ... Mixer, but expensive.
