My grandfather is looking for a new toy, and although an HD cam. (; Far IR)

He has this hard-disk recorder:

Can I store a hard drive recorder so synonymous with the avchd format and burn back to DVD? Because he will start with a computer anymore.

Alternatively, you can probably play as the imagery synonymous Mpeg2 via USB cable from the camera. How is it, I then asked my usual 2 hours per DVD movie for "DV quality", or only half an hour at HD quality?

If nothing standeth of HD or AVCHD, it will not likely be able to) speak (play;.

HD footage can you generally do not burn to a DVD, or at least not while maintaining the HD resolution. A DVD can only SD.

So there would have a Blu-ray burner or a HD (compliant media, hard disks) player to be purchased.

On og Recorder you can only save in SD, the synonymous only as Mpeg2.
Buy for HD footage with an HD-capable multimedia player, such as Iomega Pro HD, oa

Can you give ne estimate only about 5GB but that it should be in 1080i. Synonymous can be a bit more but so, at the turn around. Unkromprimiert course, HD video MP4 for example takes only a fraction of one example s.Platz

Since when is uncompressed AVCHD?

The format, I thought not synonymous. Habs net seen. But how far the compressed? How big are the files in the format? I know it from net. Since then my statement is true indeed, perhaps not.

The size depends always synonymous of the bit rate.

1 seconds at 24 Mbps gives 3 MB
1 seconds at 17 Mbps is 2.125 MB

And yes, the format is compressed. AVCHD is a compression s.sich, because that material would unkomprimertes one seconds (; 1920x1080, 25fps, need RGB) is about 148 MB (;!!!).
