Frage von NormanCz:Hello,
than it was 2 1 / 2 years, the first HD camcorder with storage on SD card came out, I bought the Aiptek Z300 HD as an entry. The Picture was going for the price like that, but the lousy sound with AF noise and battery life of 20 minutes were not so great. Now it has once fallen to the lot on the floor and the AF is crazy.
Now I search for a new HD camcorder with the following characteristics:
- The main use are baby shots inside and outside
- 720p with 30fps range
- Recording a space saving h.264 format
- Save on flash memory or SDHC card
- Always with a small camcorder
- Frame-accurate editing of the material is not necessary
- Long battery life> = 1.5 h
- Robust, surviving infants was once synonymous hands
- Good (; stereo) sound
- Would be nice if the material with a WD TV Live is abpielbar
- Max 200-250EUR
Time a few candidates:
- Flip Ultra HD: good battery life. No AF, but that is perhaps better than an adjacent / pumping AF
- Sanyo Xacti VPC-TH1EX: Excellent battery life, but bad reviews at Amazon
- Canon Digital IXUS 100 IS: This is certainly only a temporary solution but it is synonymous for usable photos
What are the alternatives?
For the price you certainly can not expect much. But even in lowlight denied my Canon EOS 40D DSLR with Speedlite Flash and his FB-1.8 Lens.
It is important to wait, that always with you and have long battery life.

I have similar requirements to me for once gained a Kodak Zx1, about 120 euros. Lowlight and good sound does not exist in the price range, and these cameras have a frame rate of 30 (or 60) frames per second, which results in greater DVD-Produktion/PAL-Röhrenfernsehern problems (eg. mixed with 25fps) material, but is still possible to make (NTSC-DVD to be played on most DVD players). HD: 720p.
The camera is well made, fairly robust, and rain / weather resistant. In the mobile bar format. Minimal controls, automatic transmission only, for easy handling. Lens: fixed focus, 4 x mm, 1:2.8, equivalent to approximately 50mm Small. Sound = just ok / it goes / Mono, but some users complain about noise. Picture: surprisingly well on a sufficient light (day, outside), Lens distortion is amazing and sharp, vibrant colors, probably little artificially sharpened, but basically well usable. No artifacts in enough light. Depth = Orson Welles 'Citizen Kane'. Looks as smooth as 60fps interlaced DV Pal. Lowlight (inside, 60W bulb) will soon be the noise profile, in addition, these cameras only regulate the exposure of the shutter / shutter speed in low light is the long exposure time, then choppy - no preference whether 30/60fps. Power supply by 2 AA-Batteries/Batteries, desired capacity, according to freely chosen, or when battery is empty, and important recording, normal AA Batteries pure. Power consumption at 60fps higher than 720p30. If one is aware of the restrictions, a surprisingly good camera. In terms of sharpness impression here proposed a 7d with runtergedrehter sharpness and with Sigma 30mm Ex-Lens (!). Thought these cameras are more likely for Web videos, but synonymous on video monitors / TVs ok.

The newer models Kodak Zi8 etc. have then synonymous 1080p and microphone input, but the co-factor was there for me, the proprietary battery, so I'm not the only tested. The new model sports play is to be completely waterproof. The Mino HDs should be better by the picture but still little. Would love to read a regular test times of such cameras, gabs with the times Slashcam? The Aiptek-league?
