My current favorite is the SonyHDR-TG3.
Small, handy, chic - but with 1080i AVCHD compression.
An ideal companion for (video) blogger.

Hi, try it but try. A good camera can make images on film, but only in bad quality. A camcorder is filming there for pictures not so good. In any video store you can give it a try with their own
or tape, chip.

SR 11 & 12 are expected at the moment probably the best two video cameras with Photo's function (resolution & chip size, the best screen in the class, etc).
Photos: 16:9 mode, 3680 x 2070 (7.6 million pixels) / 4:3-mode, 3680 x 2760 (10.2 million pixels)
Flash - yes
The AVCHD format video, but then you have to accept it.

It may be in the video area: Full-HD 1920x1080 with up to 1200 b / sec. (High-speed mode) - you need not always, but if ... learned in sports, fast animals, etc., cool slow motion!
in the photo area: 6 Mpix at up to 60 images / sec.! As you can see the ball into the mother inside and go out before the lady abhimmelt ;-)
Seriously, really high and really fast when you need it, otherwise a hybrid, you should not be underestimated, particularly in the price for just ¬ 800 - but otherwise you will get either one or the other ... I know 2 mates, only rave. Synonymous, of course, has disadvantages such as no lens shift, you have to weigh.
