I'm quite new here as in the camcorder area. I have here in the forum has many helpful tips and fetched my plans bounded as follows:
1. best image quality of camcorders for my family videos (as a future investment) and for my HD tv
2. normal youtube uploads and create DVDs for friends
3. very simple video editing (bad scenes rausschneiden, insert title, possibly to insert background music, etc)
4. Not too long computation computers
I plan for the above canon HF100 (HD) to buy, but still hesitate because of the requirements of the program cut s.meinen laptop (pentium M 2:00 GHz, 1 GB RAM and 100 GB hard drive). next to the expensive camcorder I can not be synonymous to a new PC to invest, especially because I just cut a very simple purpose. now to my question:
s.programme pinnacle seem to like my computer is not for HD / AVCHD editing to run, right? therefore, would
Canopus for my computer to an alternative solution, or is it synonymous to schwachbrüstig?
b) if not, how can I get the HD material is useful and easy to use sections on my laptop, without too much quality of the material to lose. I can zb. in a different codec to convert the computer with my performance was, and then zb. edit with movie maker?
c) Finally, even from her forum, I know that I use for converting DVDs to mpeg2 and must have a quality loss in sales to be used. are of mpeg2 HD material better than of an ordinary camera?

For the intersection of AVCHD files (Canon HF100 records in AVCHD on) is too weak your Lappi ausgestettet. Because you need much more power.

Your hardware is roughly similar to the one I am currently in a test of multiple cutting applications. I wanted to find out what software synonymous with "older" hardware for the tasks yet to be used.
During the rather dreadful "Studio" of Pinnacle AVCHD not even on the test computer can play, is the "Power Director" of liquid CyberLink even work. The only hitch: if you want to create DVDs, you will receive beo PowerDirector very poor quality, because of AVC after umcodieren mpeg probably not the strength of this program.
After my past experiences, there is no solution in the consumer space for this problem.
