Frage von bountybob:Hi,
I am just about to order the 707 in silver.
Some questions Pana s.die connoisseurs here in the forum:
- I'm going to a SD card not included.
- Which SD card is recommended and how fast or how big
should have this. previously had only a SD camera, so no experience
with HD data volumes.
- Due to the fan noise one should indeed an external Micro buy more.
What is recommended?
- What is the situation with extra batteries from? Recommendations?
I would like to cut with my MacPro (1x Quad) and Final Cut Pro, had already heard, we need to convert, despite the well-equipped computer (6GB Ram) won for the import into Final Cut Pro, the source material. Do you have experience there for me? What codec you take there, there is perhaps appropriate to tutorials on the net? 've Ever seen, but was not really find. After cutting, I would like to spend in full HD, and then later with my watch live TV of WD hard drive.
I look forward to assistance of you!
Gruss Bernd

These questions are here in recent months, sometimes more were answered in detail, so are the search with many tips on memory cards, microphones and Batteries to find. For starters:

http://forum.slashcam.de/fremdakku-fur-sd707-vt80244.html

The unbiased information about the memory cards, so for example the recording time, you will find most clearly in the manual of the camera, which do you fancy of the Panasonic home page to download.
As for the processing of the material with final Cut Pro, it is the "Log and Transfer" usually converted to ProRes, so that even more elaborate post-processing runs smoothly, for the native AVCHD everything would be less than ideal. For details, synonymous in coping with the special 50p files, can you read for example this thread:

Antwort von Axel:
In what you want. Safe is the most rich and H.264 for the web course Mpeg2 for DVD, but you can in every conceivable format export, directly or even burn a Bluray (even without BD-burner as a mini-BD, then, ironically, as AVCHD, the Final Cut Pro otherwise not supported). ProRes is used in the case only as a working codec ("Intermediate").
You have Final Cut Pro? Then you do not yet guess how ProRes of the cut would be 707th Open Safari with a YouTube movie in 1080p. While he is running, you press #% # s.Aus the list you select the largest file (the only one with MB instead of KB), so it is highlighted. Then you hold down #% and press twice quickly to s.Der movie is downloaded. With the free MpegStreamclip or synonymous with Compressor you are converting to the ProResLT. Then s.damit after FC. Cuts just like DV.

I want to spend it in full quality, ie a m2ts file would be cool. Is indeed identical to H.264. Native output (and editing) on a Mac will not do. If you like this, Edius installed on Windows, you is not synonymous with cheap system requirements. Your Mac Pro - 32 bit though by FCs to their knees - ProRes processed against a playful way that you shoots up in spite of the small "native" projection of the competition at the next pit stop. The next version must of course FC 64-bit capable. Even then, however, would people who know it, not too bad, though again there's no AVC support (what I type).
Antwort von WoWu:
As I type synonymous sometimes on it .... Flash and many others, really good things, there are not synonymous.
At some point there will only AppleTV housewife in quality, suitable for Apple monitors, s.Apple interfaces with Apple content. :-))

Just performed the order would have liked to also order an original Battery. Could someone give me the exact name, or a link to the appropriate Panasonicpage Battery?? The instructions for 707 can currently not download there.
Thank you!
Antwort von JMS Productions:
But of course!
Here you find a price list for the original battery replacement (with bigger capacity)
http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a243421.html
(The model name is the way, Panasonic VW-VBG260
I've ordered the synonymous. The whole fake Batteries here in the forum and pretty good, but I would like at least a risk that such a Noname Billigakku me later scrapped the good cam and want a reliable synonymous rest scrolled on the display. And hey, so you buy a battery, such as the Cam, not so fast again, so is worth the investment in my eyes.
Congratulations to the SD 707! Is ne Bombencam! If you want you can gaze to you on my Youtube-channel video is an example:
(But look in 1080p;))
The manual you will find guaranteed when you Google "Panasonic HDC-SD707 Manual / Manual" (Manual German) typing.

Thanks Jo. I've ordered this one!
Your video on Youtube I've seen, very cool. You may still have to Mikros Tips for SD707? The Rode NTG-2 is something very expensive. What SD card do you have in use?
Antwort von JMS Productions:
I use a 32GB Class 4 SDHC card of SanDisk. The running so far without any problems. Because an external Micro you should perhaps time s.die Tonmenschen addressed here in the forum (or search by search engine "external Micro"), have known each other a bit better.
Basically, I got nothing against the VideoMic Rode. Is actually the typical video camera microphone. It is however very important how you imagine your sound. This depends, first, whether directional microphone, stereo microphone, Monomikro, omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid, leg, etc etc etc. ..
