Hello.
I am currently s.der decision to purchase a camcorder.
Initially I thought s.die Pana 150 with SD card. Is probably not such a good idea? Originally thought that the contents of the card when it is full, on a portable hard drive to play (in the holidays - Archos Gmini with 20 GB is already available). But that does not, in any case could be behind the images on the computer plays, not edit. Expensive memory cards currently prevent synonymous still several SD cards to hold in reserve.
So then I came to HDD camcorder. Here in particular SonySR30, SR 70, SR 90th
Can these three to have somebody say something? How does it work in practice with the hard drive in your camcorder? Very vulnerable?

Where will the recordings archived?
The tape is not more and tapes are very durable as it is for VHS-C / Video 8 has been found.
What do you do on when the panel of the camcorder is full?
I guess just a new tape and it goes next ...

Ultimately, I would save the films, probably on DVD, I think. 'm Just me with the whole thing to get some to lay.
For the subsequent processing s.Computer seems to me such an ideal camcorder actually synonymous, right? My reasoning was mainly that a camera with HDD has enough space for the entire vacation (which is still in the best quality?). Not as in the camcorder with SD card (only about 20 min).
I used to do likewise on H8 filmed. After my camera on holiday had fallen into the water, I stood there with all the bands that angesmmelt had in years. How should I play now? At this time another H8 to buy new equipment is so stupid. Have already tried too find used. Is synonymous but not easy.
