Infoseite // HDTV (, * ts-File) Edit 1080p?

Frage von JMS Productions:

Dear All,

I have the whole Star Wars episodes as high-definition 1080p TS files.

This TS files I now want to convert to a lossless format more common, since TS files are not very popular in many applications or programs. My previous appropriations for such purposes is "DVR-Studio Pro, but now I realized that this program only get along with DVD resolution, but not with 1080p. It throws out a message that the file would have 0x0 pixels and can not be processed ...

How do I get those TS lossless file into another format, or what the format would offer themselves there? I can not even directly say whether it really is 1080p, GSpot is nothing cheap about this. But the dissolution of her could get there already.

Has anything surprised me at first synonymous, because I missed anything that should be available, the Star Wars series in full HD? If do not even available on BlueRay until I read an internet link that said that this is a special scan of the original 35mm analog film acting and that of a 35-mm analogue film easily a full HD scan possible would be even higher ...

Quote: "The films were abgestastet for George Luca ® in 4-fold full-HD resolution, and then for the TV station back on runtergerechnet FullHD.

Do not know if that is true ...

Well, at least thank you for your help;)

The format is very likely that the satellite or cable receiver
Sometimes renaming helps in Mpg
or the usual Converter Free or OpenCloner

The format is a * ts file. So has the extension. "Ts"
These files are often created with digital photographs, etc.

I'm going to see if it just goes by, I rename it:)

for example, the S2 or Technisat HD receiver with HDD K2 takes mpeg-4 files on TS in general such as cable / satellite is

I would simply repackage the TS into a MP4/MOV-Container:

ffmpeg-i-bla.ts Copytests-vcodec copy-acodec copy bla.mp4

finished. Alternatively, the means is synonymous SUPER: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html (here must halt the options) should be clicked.

What I wanted to just ask not synonymous: The movie seems to actually be in 1080p, but somehow I find that a lot of "noise on" what I do not notice on the normal 720x756 DVD. Especially in areas of solid color such as sky or sand. Is this normal for HD? I have always believed, because noise would not be nothing and everything clear?

TS stream unpack and write back with no change of audio - or video codecs while maintaining their original timestamps jump back as MP4.

No, analogue film rushes, and although quite violent. Only the noise there looks a bit different than you are of (digital) video her know. The noise depends on the film of grain size (Grain), the ISO value of the material and from the Development and copying process. The scanning of the film with today's HD technology will encourage exactly this noise to light. That is exactly as claimed by the digitization of a record (of the way, synonymous many that it sounds) much better than a CD.

Sky Cinema HD broadcasts in 1080i50. Films are, however, with 24 frames / s recorded. In this distribution are then 50Hz with 25 frames / s play, thus shortening the duration a little. Thus contain two fields (Fields) to the sky signal, a former progressive full screen (frame).

Moin, briefly outlined the legal framework: For private use may be recorded television (or radio). The disclosure of the record only becomes a legal issue. Such records may be synonymous change for its own use, synonymous here until the transfer becomes a problem. So we are moving here in the legal framework.
Schönen Sonntag noch, Stefan
