Frage von RahulSeditec:Hi folks,
because I now the proud owner of a HDV Cam am, I am for days with the archiving. I do record on HDVSplit. Since 1 hours to 12 GB, it is naturally very great. As you all surely know, is the result 1080i (50i) at 1440x1080 (4:3).
Accordingly, I stand before 2 problems. Actually would like to Divx (. AVI container) to archive, because the ratio of picture quality / size is so very good.
Divx does not work properly with interlaced (hab mal ein DV video as a Divx compressed 1:1), my DVD player would have ALMOST correctly ;-).
Ok so the fact is, I need to Divx progressive. Now I have the opportunity 25p or 50p. Since I so the information available for 50 Pictures, I can using VirtualDub synonymous to 50 frames per second coming. A Divx video with true 50 frames per second requires a very fast processor to play. Also denied me any service standalone players (not because of the resolution, but also because of the 50 images)
Archive I with 25 progressive images everything works fine, but I lose half s.Bewegungsanimationen.
My second problem is the anamorphic 1440x1080. I can be suitable for players under Windows to 16:9 stretching, but if someone can not do? Thus, it would be "almost better" in 1920x1080 to archive, then agrees with the ratio, but I compress interpolated with information (it is clear to me that the picture does not improve, but the ratio would agree).
Who procured So even with the topic?

what a theme?
external hard disk, m2t data on it,
ready ...
simple and small as it gets, otherwise
it is not archived.

Definitely the best way for the material in full quality with all the information without re-encoding to secure. I agree fully and completely to.
What is, however, when I look at the encoding it wants to do to enjoy a newer algorithm to use (mpeg4 is practically new and better than mpeg2). s.besten clearly it would be the 50i 1440x1080 video to be opened and synonymous than 1440x1080 interlace to save (re-compress), but this may not so divx. the possibility to work even in 1440x1080 divx still quite acceptable (although manual must always specify at 16:9 gestrecht be) because to me that the avi container apparently does not save this info, but the main problem is precisely the interlace. interlace, I can not save, I lose infos 25p, and 50p is too much of the good.
if everything would be progressive if you had a major problem less. or can I convert it to AVCHD? AVCHD is mpeg4 and so should therefore be space saving and interlace correctly mastered.
I want someday to me 150 euro Xoro player pick of synonymous and WMV9 hd divx can play with 1920x1080 via HDMI.

Umcodieren to another lossy format like MPEG4 is always additional losses may result. In the
ideal case, there are no visible differences, but better is the picture is definitely not. Normally, the ideal situation but the exception.
A 500GB disk costs around 100 euros. With about 40 bands out of the match, there are 2.50 Euro per tape. And do you want to compress even more?
Antwort von r.p. television:
I arichiviere both DV CAM. Avis as synonymous HDV. M2t without encoding 1:1 on external USB drives. The cost is currently between 100-150 euros. This is the archive even cheaper than some good-DV tapes. In addition, I play on the (pre-) m2ts on tape back. So time a hard drive from the shelf fall, I can file (whose In - and Out points, I just saved a file archiving them) back on the hard drive to play.
From umcodieren to MPEG4 or the like, I can only advise against synonymous. Have the other reasons already tried and always with swabs in the quality had to struggle.

I prefer removable SATA disks in Icybox enclosure - and there comes the whole project on it, with all source files. And then silence.
Sure, the plates are susceptible to collapse and shock - we must be careful. The cut film as m2t file come anyway even extra to other media, in full m2t Resolutionund data.
