Frage von arthuro:Hello,
during the year I will be for a broadcaster ARD-long film, the HD needs to be done. The conditions of production but only allow the use of a camera the size of a HDV model. Now I stand before the question (synonymous with regard to post-production), which is a good camera, and brings the best results. Is it a Sony, a Canon, or JVC (eg, the HD 111 or HD 201).
For tips from the field, I would be grateful.

well, difficult. the new sony - models promise so much, I would be given time around. HDV is now obviously not optimal for the acquisition send, but ok ...
if you do not collect s.material tons, and you are rotating between the dates / times to locate something, then I would recommend the EX1. at the moment surely the non plus ultra, and certainly smaller than a slice-of jvc ..

Demand: The rate is hopefully to be understood that there are substantive reasons why no major camera can be used, right? So an issue with limited space or in a country without freedom of the press? Then use a small camera of course, to justify, but not from pure cost reasons.

yes, but now should really look at the wonder of matthias clarified. I habs is already approved. But as I said, no longer jvcs fall under small and unobtrusive ...

Contradictory. "The production conditions allow only small cameras? Content or for cost reasons? This is sometimes unclear.
Next you talk of Sony (EX1, Z1, V1), Canon (XH A1) and JVC (HD 110). This series does not fit, because the big Sony and the JVC are already too expensive, while the JVC is once again too big. Again unclear ...
Antwort von smooth-appeal:
The JVC is not big ... I have the camera as a joke when I felt they have seen. This is just a great shoulder camera like the XL cameras - A Henkelmann with accessories and a little bit of a shoulder condition.
Since it is a movie I would act on a camera with a good codec access. HDV is not particularly well suited for great color. If there is a small camera to be, then the HVX or EX-1. With both their "problems" have. Alternatively you can synonymous Canon of the A1 take, but then again HDV in the game.
There is no best camera in this class, but when working properly (especially lighting) can be with each of these cameras a great film if the content is correct.
