Frage von The Magpie:Hello,
for image, fashion and Making-Of-productions, documentaries and small we are in search of a HDV camera, designed as the successor of our SonyVX the 2100th
Envisaged, we have the Canon XH A1, SonyHVR-Z1 and the JVC GY HD 110th
I would be delighted if someone's eventual experience reports or neutral
Buy recommendations and price gives us the buying decision so easily.
Our tendency is currently used to JVC because they shoulder as an additional camera is capable of and
with Exchangable optics and their options a "professional" basis.
Read, however, we have increased that users that included Lens,
criticize. Nor would we, as with all "professional" cameras, the Auto Focus function,
or a button for quick auto-focus in manual mode is missing because our
Productions, often of many and fast movements (eg Catwalk) are marked. If this concentration
on an absolute manual focus simply a habit and or can Lernsache
this is a serious problem to be overburdened.
Finally, a very general question:
We are looking therefore for HDV to access the latest technology and to be
in the coming years not to have to retrofit. Is this a sensible idea
HDV currently synonymous if maybe not so much in demand? Big issue is definitely
16:9 and the better image quality ...
Thanks for any hints and recommendations ...

So I would take the Canon (ups I've already mentioned). Stand back then, more or less facing the same decision.
The Sony offers the same as the Canon, it is only about 1500 ¬ more expensive and this extra cost is clearly not worth it.
The JVC has unfortunately not so good reviews received on the one hand due to the inferior Optics and secondly because of the bad Progressivleistung probably not really great look.
Würd synonymous So I still take the A1, like synonymous twice instead of a JVC.

the manual focus in the HDV range, even with
focus aid is not as trivial as sd.
if you are not just a still life with a recording or
preview monitor will be working in the regular course with
the henkelcams (a1/z1/fx1/fx7/h1) in the AF mode to work.
(except in lowlight AF here because of the ever
loses focus). as in a hd schultercam with the
manual is focusieren was not yet expressed ...
and I would be interested in talk shows at least ....
saw you last time, often times fokussierprobleme.

There is no autofocus I imagine also problematic before. When HDV is the manual focusing without any electronic assistance (or an external monitor, but that we leave for foreign reportage times before) is not possible. The JVC is probably because the S / W Viewfinder, sharpness as red contour shows. This allows a yes on the safe Page, but it certainly requires time, still other aspects to concentrate.
At Ease jerky of the Progressive, I think not. That it was synonymous of the Panasonic DVX 100 and of the Canon A1, incidentally, synonymous of experienced testers. As it turned out, there were two reasons: First, the NLE needed an attitude - as synonymous with computer means, for the only HDV Progressive "no Halbbildpräferenz" (but still half). Secondly, there is a slight Bildstottern too fast pans in the nature of the half-motion information. It differs not 720p of analog film.
EDIT: If I am not mistaken, the JVC synonymous "50p", so it should be no more bucking. Question just how in the finishing order correctly handled.

after my experiences with the FX7 is the focus in the sw / mode
(picture profile on sw / expandmodus Type2) are not sufficient. only
contour can increase at the high resolution makes sense to use
But in some situations and not synonymous as one of the fast
moving subjects (sports) regulate the manual is time a

There is, of course, which was tested as bad, the test comes from the digital video asset. Must every man for himself to decide how far he believes what it is.
