Hi,
FC 6 and I would like to log of the camera-CX7 SonyHDR the tapes with the Sony HVR-M35E VTR.
Have the device connected with a Firewire400 cable s.den Mac.
Despite the correct capture settings can not be initiated or device is no Picture in the log window.
Someone got an idea what I could try?

Wherever your tapes come from - certainly not from a CX7.
Apart from this, CNAC and Final Cut each case must be set to DV / DVCAM or HDV. What both of the bands on it is need to know yourself.

Hi,
ok the little sony camera (any model SonyHDR) ihc've seen only briefly. MAZ is set to HDV and Final Cut - Video pre-settings to:
Sequence: HDV - 1080i50
Recording: HDV
Device Control: Sony HDV 1800i50 FireWire
Would not know what it is incorrectly ...

If it really is HDV (was not too, you see the tape is ignored),
then create new project in Final Cut Pro and run the Easy Setup HDV 1080i50. The deck must be off the iLink-down conversion.
