Hello,
I have my film on HDV rotated and now wants them cut into Premiere CS3. The final format is SD 16zu9. Now I import the HDV clips in an SD project and as soon as I pull them into the timeline I have in the PÜrogrammmonitor one zoomed picture because of the high resolution.
Do I now every clip I import the scale in retrospect that the program correctly but displays the monitor / SD size to get?!? I actually thought Premiere makes auto. When I import the clips must render the auchn always directly, which would be normal, but s.The SD resolution, they are still not scaled. I have to in order to get the clips to the SD Aufklösung to runterskalieren to the value 54 and the sharpness decreases wirkoiuch enormous. There must be a better way or something's wrong yet.
Another problem is still that I am at my HDV stereo sound, the function "to split mono" can not swählen somehow. Is this due to the MP3 compression?

Make an HDV Project and decide all s.Schluss, in which size / format to be exported. An SD Project can not be exported as an HD, an HDV Project can be exported as against both SD and HD as synonymous.

Basically, you're right, but I must take this route, because I combine in the Project HDV and SD clips and I'd rather not have to blow up the SD clip full.
So please tell me one time if I really do what I do not think ..
And to the Tonproblem: Somehow, I can select the function "split to mono not" easy. I've just been re-imported the HDV synonymous stereo sound as a wave, but I can immernochnjicht select it, (;

If you must mix SD and HD, take an SD project. The You're right.
To bring the HDV clips on SD size, there are 2 options:
1. In the preferences select "Default Scale to Frame Size value.
This must be done BEFORE you the clips into the project window import.
2. If the HDV clips are already in the timeline:
Highlight clips, scale then Right Mouse> on frame size.
This is synonymous with all the clips at once.
Stereo channels to mono split:
It does not work in the timeline. Premiere distinguished strictly from stereo and mono tracks, so you can not simply make a stereo track to mono tracks.
Complies. Clips in the Project window, select, then Clip> Audio Options> split to mono.
Monoclips then pull into 2 mono tracks.
