Frage von grundy:Hi All,
I want to install the update 1.5.1 for HDV editing and search the (Windows) Drivers for the Sony FX-1. With SP2, I had trouble capturing, so I want to stay with SP1. Does anybody know how the exact name for the appropriate drivers is that is included in SP2? Can the event. separately install or copy of SP2?? Or does anybody know how I can get it? On the page of Microsoft, I have not found it.
Thank you for your help and best regards

Yes, the Sony driver can be installed under SP1 itself.
Here times a Instructions how it goes around with the JVC HD101 (stop), take the corresponding Sony driver
For Capture for Windows XP and the SP1 must be the drivers for the camcorder manually installed. This goes beyond the following way:
- Start / Control Panel / System / Hardware / Device Manager
- There they detected a non-installed AV / C (the JVC shall subunit in HDV mode on infected OHCI be synonymous when it is not recognized
- Right mouse button, click on the unrecognized AV / C Subunit choose to update drivers
- Choose: "Software of a list or specific location"
- Choose Search: Not "I will choose the drivers to install itself"
- Choose: "Audio - Video - and Game Controllers"
- Select Choose from: "JVC", and there "JVC Tape Device"
- Ignore the warning message next time and confirm
The drivers will be installed, the warning disappeared in Device Manager.
If you work with XP SP2, however, then the camcorder in HDV mode is detected automatically.

Are there perhaps other options? Is there no drivers are supplied, the with the Camera?
Many greetings - grundy

There really is definitely no separate FX1 Drivers. If you infect the FX1 via firewire, and it will not be recognized, synonymous with no error message, then something different hats. Perhaps the FX1 to DV-avi switched mode (because I would) times examined. Or a hardware failure.

With SP2, I see no problems with the HDV editing.
However, I had trouble capturing synonymous. If you have an AMD 64bit processor, I know, perhaps a solution and you can continue working with SP2, which in turn would spare you the tedious search for a drivers, which there is apparently no ...
