Perhaps gehts with the vga card itself? But since you can select full screen video device, you could assign it to the dvi, and if just the cam with a program-like power cinema (= I do not now know for sure, definitely a proggy, with whom you live, the firewire signal can compose, then klappts Full image ... and maybe ..?
for me, however, was seen only in black .. : (

Hi,
There is a unit of Macro system, there is an HDV-enhancer box that displays the picture from the firewire input to a DVI output in 1080i format. So quite a good thing ne, only the price is ¬ 1500 with little high. But in a few years, it sowas hopefully the AV Resiever or an HD-DVDBLUERAID-Standalonerekorder.

I tell you the Nvidia Pure Video decoder to decompress the real-time HDV streams used. Runs very smooth, very low jitter, very low CPU load, the graphics card is in the decompressed, amazing to deinterlacing.
Then connect to your HDV source Graphedit (under Capture Sources) with a "Video Renderer" (under DirectShow filter), to maximize 2tem monitor.
Only the monitor with Resolutionvom I'm not sure, can only 1080i analog component outputs on the switch for me.
What you need, anyway??
