Frage von HDV Berlin:had a bad experience with native HDV editing in Premiere CS3.
as soon as a filter, a diaphragm or other arithmetic operations on the images used, the results from miserable (I'm exaggerating a bit). typical MPEG-2 block artefacts multiplying. Details zerkrisseln. That's why I left the HDV to a DVCPRO HD Project loaded. compute the same operations can now see the results much better. The original HDV material is hardly "aufgekrisselt from.
this is a common way to cut HDV? there are other codecs that are suitable? Comment on this solution still problems to me?
Maybe somebody has experience with it. many thanks for kommentrare

DNxHD, Cineform, Sheer Video, FotoJPEG, ProRes 422, uncompressed 8-bit ...
Antwort von HDV Berlin:
thank you very much. you have to bring about a better experience than with DVCPRO HD?
Antwort von PowerMac:
No, I did not have much longer experience with Premiere CS3 and Intermediate codecs. With Pro Res 422, 8-bit uncompressed HDV and DVCProHD instead, I have good experience with Final Cut Pro.
Antwort von HDV Berlin:
Ok. ProRes makes me somewhat envious. but I will try my luck times with the DVCPRO HD codec.
