Good morning,
I have diligently HDV with Final Cut Pro in native format, captured, can the material now but not on another Mac (OS X 10.5.3) Final Cut Pro without a play. Actually this should be so with the VLC go, but the crashes from unknown reasons. What do I need for Quicktime? The pay MPEG-2 component?

The QT player does not play MPEG-2 without the plugin. But you you mistaken if you think that Final Cut Pro HDV in native format "capturet. This would be. "M2t", as it exists on the tape. To qualify as m2t to export, choose> Compressor> Preferences> Format> Mpeg2> Transport Stream (is quick, only irgendsoeine Mux or Filingangelegenheit). This format is now idiotischerweise no longer played by Quicktime ( "no film"), not even if you have the plugin by FCS searched. But it will be played by VLC on Mac AND PC, even on lame office PCs. Incidentally, it is synonymous the only way (except cassette exchange), HDV s.einen Window Material Contract.

Premiere on Windows capturet although afaik as m2t, but before cutting "indexing" (some will be so Fotschrittsbalken shown), Final Cut Pro makes a stop at capturing simultaneously.

Another alternative is to capture the material as it is in the DSP in an HD-DVD timeline and to draw on "Finish" to click. That also goes quack-zapp, since only the sound is uncompressed. The Apple DVD Player in Tiger and the Jaguar then plays in excellent quality and with good navigation, whether you have the QT plugin did or not.

Afaik it is not MPEG-2-component for 20 euros. HDV is only on Macs, Final Cut Pro installed.

A question s.Rande, I'd like in full resolution instead of 1280 for Apple TV rendered. That worked synonymous, but the aspect ratio will no longer be approved. QT and Co showed the Picture squashed. Hm Why?
