Good morning Slashcam
As the owner of a Canon XH-A1 and of Premiere Pro CS3, I have been so few posts to read these two products, which were not always positive. However, I have no problem with the following concrete found:
A Film, 02:25 minutes, was on the XH-A1 recorded in APP CS3 captured and sliced, should now be using the XH-A1 order Wettbewebsbeitrag back on a tape.
After initial problems (dropouts, etc.) with "normal" miniDV tapes, I use the Sony Digital Master PHDVM-63DM. They have with 25 Swiss francs (about 16 euros), although its price, but had never dropouts.
The problem: The film is quite it, but the sound is almost exactly after half of the film simply gone. During the tape-to-export as synonymous with hindsight. Have already tried several times, always the same, EXACTLY the same. Can not quite a coincidence, and it should s.tape but are not synonymous.
This is something that made me aback: I did always test render with the Adobe Media Encoder, was never a problem, but now, so just before the end of editing the video had no sound all of a sudden more. Settings: MPEG2, DV Pal, otherwise default (Preferences).
I know that it is not ziemt to push the film but should be mailed by tomorrow in time for the jury indicated. Thank you all ever.

If s.CS3 it should be, could you look at the Edius NEO demo download and order the film on the XH-A1 back to play.
Is it still not allowed to film as a file on a CD / DVD / BluRay a flash card or a USB stick submitted?
If not, must be the change quickly, since not every material in HD can output to tape (in the absence of an HD-MAZ).

Perhaps yes, a restart of the computer, or creating an HDV project (if not already done so)? Premiere or the calculator could be synonymous "swallowed" have.
The times are changing, but (Mini) DV is still the benchmark - I am very curious to see how much longer. ;)

MiniDV ways: You can format almost nothing wrong and it is really lossless. These advantages are probably still a long prevail. I suppose.
PS: I just export to a different tape samples, exactly the same problem ... If there is, willy-nilly s.Premiere.

Edius NEO HDV renders as m2t file. Setting can be obtained from the output settings nothing, since a fixed standard for the rendering is used.
With Edius NEO test clips I have created an expressive quality to be able to compare:
1. 1920x1080i in MPEG2, 35MBits / s, high quality
2. In 1440x1080i HDV, 25MBit / s
3. 720x576i in MPEG2, 10Mbit / s, high quality
When the material is a DV clip (SonyDCR-PC101E) and an HD clip (Canon HF100) that offer the same picture content - with a few deviations.
Between Clip1 and Clip2, it does not at first sight, the visible differences in quality, where. So you can easily be 1920 material on a HDV camcorder output. The Picture-and Tonunterschied between the two camcorders is glaringly obvious derat however, that there is nothing else more than HD-material wants to see.
CS3 should just be able to make a HDV file to create.

Have a new project created in Premiere, the movie as a file rendered hineingefügt on tape and then rendered. Has worked without problems, the quality is top. even on the 37 "LCD TV completely sharp.
Thanks for the tip with the new Project, I would of course do not come out;)
