Frage von deadmetal:Hi,
I have the problem that WinXP does not recognize my camcorder JVC GR-D245 type (Mini DV-Cam). He will not be as displayed in Device Manager.
The camcorder is connected via a FireWire cable with my external hard drive connected via USB hangs the last sending s.eigentlichen Calculator. I thought that should work just as well as the direct connection s.einer FireWire card s.PC because I s.der connections with the hard drive and the disk itself has never had a problem. (Can this even be the fault?)
I was very surprised that was included with my camera no software drivers, with which I could solve the problem of cognition. Can anyone tell me if that would solve the problem vllt and where I can find those drivers (on the official Page of JVC I have not found, at least!)
I should mention vllt synonymous nor that the computer recognizes that something is connected (via sound!) But then never show anything I do not understand ...!!??
I have often read that is discouraged by the use of JVC cams on WinXP .... can someone help me vllt anyway?
I'm thankful for every tip ..

Hello deadmetal,
finally a "metal" here. Although I am not a PC Specific with the best intentions but I can not imagine the way it works.
JVC Gr 245 - Firewire - PC (Firewire) should map already declining in most cases.
If not re-experiencing a problem with ServicePack2 ...
Yes, there are hard disks, the jump of the mini-DV Camera zb add Firestore FS 4
And then, where appropriate, be discharged directly s.den PC, but they cost plenty more than 1000 ¬.
A program should in most cases erstmal regulate, to be captured and how alternative settings, etc.
A couple of PC's Special're here, and perhaps still have a good tip as everything is properly recognized by the PC, but I do not think off.
