I am looking for two good Hi8 cameras (similar to the following) are able to:
Manual Focus
Manual Aperture
Mic input
steady shoot
lanc
Folding LCD monitor
The cameras may not still be hard, because I will install both on a pole.
Who has a tip which model is suitable and where can I get it.

Hi8 has just max. 400 lines resolution, while PAL has already transferred 625 or 576 visible lines.
You can actually get sowas nurnoch used, did not know that Hi8 cams were still produced.
But if it has to be: We the above occurs to me spontaneously EX1 of the canon.

Careful with such comparisons.
Are you throwing a little confused, which can lead to confusion.
Hi8/SVHS has also 576/625 for PAL lines.
The "resolution" of 400 pairs of lines (not line) refers to a black and white hor. Line screen that indicates s.wann adjacent pairs of lines can not be distinguished, but only perceived as gray area.
But you're right: Hi8 dissolves less than, say, DV (400:500 pairs of lines behind tape).

good Hi8 camcorder more. Today's models are designed for those who find the entry-level MiniDV is still too expensive. - Where the is not much there, because in the (lowest) 250 ¬-Billigklasse there are now synonymous MiniDV models.
Since then you have to reckon with all sorts of restrictions, such as lack of microphone inputs and a rate of just over the menu. Keep your eyes peeled at the camcorder buying, if you really need these features! - What kind of budget you actually available? Or do you think this model only s.gebrauchte? Or you meant even s.end Super8 (keyword movie)?
